- MRR TUTORIALS - LANDSCAPE- MOUNTAINS & HILLS

Realistic mountains and hills
Realistic scenery should be easy and fun to make and Low cost!

The base in your scenery outside the sub-trackbed
Hills are easily created with crumpled aluminum mesh. Then the net is stretched to the desired shape, the surface is fixed with paper towels and wood glue. Realistic bare rock surfaces, such as blasted rock sides, or steep cliffs are cast in rubber molds and glued in place with hot melt adhesives.

Then the rock is painted with acrylic paint mixed with wood glue. Then, in the wet surface, different color mixtures of turf are sprinkled.

The right technique is the key to a realistic result!

How to get started with Static grass
In this video I show you how to easily get started with static grass. What is important for success and how you can save by recycling grass that is not stuck to the application

The video also takes up different grass mixtures in the form of length and color, and gives answers on how without can be prepared before the grass is applied.

Course step 2 in Static grass
In collaboration with the German manufacturer Noch I produced part 2 in the series about Static grass.

This video explains how the density, coverage, color mix and length of the grass can be analyzed to achieve the most realistic result possible. I also show how the glue can be applied to achieve differences in the grass areas between, for example, a forest glade and an ordinary lawn.
